The American Academic Foundation for Emerging Countries is supported by a dedicated and diverse team of nonprofit professionals, staff, and volunteers who possess high motivation and expertise. Each one of them brings exceptional talents and a passion for helping one of the world's most vulnerable communities. They are well-versed in the issues and challenges facing Third World Countries, such as poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, etc.

Our foundation comprises several departments, including grant-making, communications, development, finance, and operations, all collaborating to achieve AAFEC’s objective.

The AAFEC team is motivated by its fundamental principles and rich heritage. The endeavors of AAFEC are bolstered by its devoted team and supporters, who share a common passion and dedication to achieving the organization’s mission of promoting a better world through education.

In pursuit of our mission, we have prioritized the recruitment of team members predominantly from the developing countries where we operate. This strategy enables us to acquire direct insights into the issues and challenges faced in the region, thereby enhancing our ability to address them effectively.

Professor Manzoor Ahmad, our esteemed Chairman, is a distinguished educator, administrator and civil servant. He held a number of high-profile positions, including police chief, president of three universities, and head of various government and philanthropic organizations.

N. M. Hamdan holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at our foundation, where he also manages the Legal Department and Advocacy initiatives. He is a distinguished advocate, barrister, and solicitor, possessing extensive legal knowledge. His role encompasses various responsibilities across both the legal and advocacy departments.

Professor Haq oversees the Department of Applied and Basic Sciences and supervises academic and clinical research initiatives. He is a prominent scientist who has obtained both doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships from the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France. With more than 30 years of experience in fundamental and clinical research. He has occupied senior positions in research laboratories, hospitals, and universities worldwide, including institutions in France, Canada, India, Saudia Arabia and the UAE

Dr. Numan is the Communications and External Relations Department's Vice President. He is a distinguished academic, medical educator, and professional philanthropist, possessing a doctoral degree in medical education and training. With more than three decades of experience, he has successfully led and administered numerous educational and healthcare institutions and organizations globally.

Prof. V.P. Tripathi holds the position of Vice President for Economic Education, Rural Development, and Disaster Management. He is a prominent economist and academic, recognized for his expertise in rural development and disaster management. His role encompasses the management of the rural development and disaster management departments, along with the direction of economic education training and research initiatives. Prof. Tripathi earned his doctorate in economics and has previously occupied several significant roles, including Dean of the Economics Department and Dean of the Rural Development Institute, then the Vice President of the University. With over 33 years of experience in teaching, research, and administrative roles, he has established a distinguished career in his field of expertise. Additionally, he is a co-founder of an organization focused on disaster management.

 Mr. T. Noman is the Vice President of the Fundraising and Grants Management Department. He has vast knowledge of legal matters, administration, and professional networking, which he acquired over the course of several years as a municipal commissioner.

Prof.Mansour holds the position of Vice President for Humanities and Social Sciences while also managing Education and Training in Management. He earned a doctoral degree in management and marketing. With more than 30 years of experience in teaching and research, he has led management departments at various universities.

Dr. Almassery holds the position of vice president, where he is tasked with managing medical and health education, training, research, and public health programs. He is a board-certified surgeon with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, education, and research, which he brings to his current position.

Ms. S. Haydarova is responsible for managing the administration, human resources, and secretarial functions. She possesses a Master of Business Administration and has garnered over eight years of experience in the education and healthcare sectors.

Engineer Mohammad M. Younes holds the position of Director of Technical and Vocational Education. He is responsible for the management of Engineering Education, in addition to overseeing Vocational and Technical Education and Training.

Abuzar Hassan serves as the Director of the Finance and Marketing Department. He holds an MBA in Financial Management and has over 15 years of extensive professional experience in his area of expertise. Additionally, he has a robust background in both the education and healthcare sectors.

Yousif A Y Mohamed is the Director of the Coordination and Follow-Up Department. He also serves as a volunteer coordinator and manages the pharmaceutical education department. He holds a degree in pharmacy and management and has more than seven years of professional experience in the healthcare industry.

Mr. Basheer is the Director of the Projects and Partnerships Department, where his responsibilities encompass emergency response, protection, coordination, project execution, capacity building, security and safety measures, along with project management, education, and training initiatives. He is a seasoned charity professional who has worked with multiple European and global charities and possesses a diverse range of skills acquired through various positions, including Projects and Grants Officer, Partnership Officer, and Liaison, compliance officer and Reporting Specialist. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of Healthcare Education, Livelihood, and Peacebuilding. His skill set encompasses emergency response, protection, coordination, project execution, capacity building, security and safety, in addition to project management, education, and training.

For years our Honorary and Goodwill Ambassadors have been instrumental in promoting our mission across numerous countries and through diverse means.
